The course involves classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction over solar fundamentals, site selection, best practice installation, system maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. Students installed three types of systems during the laboratory periods that could be used in resident or commercial applications.
ELMT 1002 will be offered late spring or early summer semester in 2012. Contact the Northeast Texas Community College, Continuing Education Department at 903-434-8134 for more details.
