Kyle Penney (right), President of East Texas Communities Foundation, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement at Northeast Texas Community College, are pictured holding a $12,000 check from the Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund at East Texas Communities Foundation.† The money is to be used as for "emergency" scholarships for non-traditional students enrolling at 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ for the 2014 spring semester.†Burt and Nancy Marans were strong supporters of the Scholarship program at 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ and, through carefully planned estate giving, they continue to help both the College, and more importantly, †the citizens of our community. For more information on this or other planned giving opportunities, please contact McCullough at 903-434-8115.
